A significant point, event, or achievement during a Project.

In the context of an MBB Engagement Charter Timeline, the completion of each Phase is signaled by the achievement of a defined Milestone.

Projects can also have a more comprehensive Project Plan that specifies additional milestones.
As a best practice, milestones should be established at less that 2 month intervals during the
entirity of the Initiative.
In Project Planning, Milestones are tasks of zero duration, they are achieved when all
contributing tasks have been completed.
